Sweepstakes Program to Drive Retail Specific Sales and Excitement for Kraft Heinz

Kraft Heinz Canada wanted to drive excitement and sales with Sobeys and Safeway shoppers, as well as to drive their CRM acquisition through consumer opt-ins. They also wanted to leverage their partnerships with Budweiser and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Snipp and SALT XC created a dynamic, cross-brand sweepstakes program where Sobeys & Safeway shoppers who purchased either a qualifying Heinz Ketchup 750 mL to 1 L OR a Budweiser non-alcoholic 6 or 10 pack could upload a photo of their receipt to https://heinzinclusiveweekend.ca/ to be entered into the sweepstakes. The more products purchased, the more sweepstakes entries shoppers received.  10 lucky shoppers won the Grand Prize of a Blue Jays weekend for them + 1 friend including tickets in the Budweiser box, flights and cash. Snipp sent retargeted emails to opted in shoppers throughout the promotion, directing them back to the sweepstakes site.
