Hornitos wanted to build brand meaning and salience and establish itself as THE margarita brand for summer by giving away a "dose" of that Summer Friday feeling and rewarding consumers for shifting into "Margarita Mode."

Snipp built an exciting instant win combined with a sweepstakes program and use of a long-code texting program where consumers could scan a QR code, visit a microsite http://www.hornitosmargmode.com/ and register (with 2FA authentication for fraud prevention) for the program. After registering, participants had the chance to be a daily winner and access to exclusive content delivered via text and email. Participants received text messages reminding them to shift into Margarita Mode on the weekends and received emails promoting Hornitos. All participants were entered to win the ultimate manifestation of Margarita Mode: an all-expenses paid trip to Cabo. They also had the chance to instantly win a $5 Venmo reward daily and could come back every day for a chance to win.

The Snipp built microsite was age gated. Snipp also setup the QR code, long code, managed the bonding & registration in NY/FL/RI, conducted the random sweepstakes draw, and handled winner outreach and verification.
